Subject: 4.7L fuel injectors IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone have the scoop on why there are so many different fuel injector part numbers for the 4.7L engine? I know the HO engine had different injectors but, starting in 2001 Jeep started using PN 53032145AA. This PN is valid from 2001-2004. Dodge also used this part but, only until 2003, in 2004 they switched to PN 53032704AA then 53032704AB. What's the difference between these injectors?

Message: My guess would be that they are using different suppliers. If a manufucturer changes a supplier for a part , they will change the part number. That way they can track if they are having trouble with a particular one. Dradee suggested you go to FiveO. I second that suggestion. Those guys are good and will have all the answers you need.
