i have a 00 4.7 5spd 4x4 dakota,my engine light came on the other day,i had it checked it said it was a vacuum leak but the truck still runs fine how do i find this vacuum leak????

Check your gas cap, I had the same problem a month ago and I found the leak to be a gas cap. I found the valving in the gas cap to be rotted out.

On my Dakota it was usually a hose or sensor line that came out of the charcol box, that's where all of your fumes go out of your gas tank. It's located on your driver side mounted to the frame.
