 Subject: Replaced melted MSD super conductor

Yeah, one of my spark plug wires sagged onto my shorty headers and melted through the insulation. Anyway, I've never replaced spark plug wires before and I just went down and bought a set of MSD super conductors, pieced it together and replaced the one that melted. The instructions had all this stuff about using a vice and all kinds of details that I kinda overlooked. I used pliers. :) Does anyone foresee any problems with that? Have I over looked anything?
