I bought a new 04 QC 4.7 Sport 4X4 w/AWD. I have put on about 1000 miles so far and have noticed that when I crank the steering wheel while pulling into a parking spot (i.e., engine is at idle rpm) the power steering stops (i.e., it looses the power steering) for a split second and then power comes back. I have checked the ps fluid and the level is okay. I have a the full warrenty but was wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows what this may be. I don't want to take it to the dealership just yet because it does not happen all the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem with my 04 dakota, finally got tired of it and had a new PS pump put in it at the dealer. It must be a problem with the 04 as I have heard other owners mention the same thing

yeah i have exactt same problem!!! , i just got use to it because its
not worth it haha.
either of you guys know anything about a programmer or chip for
our trucks ?
