I also have noisy cats but when I bang on it I canthear a thing so is it still possible that its shot even thought its not making noise when I bang it ???? Help

I have the same problem mine rattles when warm not when cold. Maybe its something to do with heat expansion of the casing causing the waffer to rattle around. Then when it cools it shrinks back into place.

It's probably broken up inside. Mine rattled too when hot. The outside still looked good when I took it off to put a cat back system on.
