ok boys, i got a 97 dak witha 3.9 automatic and 4 wheel drive, i got a part truck 3.9 5 spd 2wd, i'm gonna make mine 2wd but i wanna put in a 360(5.9L) or 318(5.2L) to spice it up a little, does anyone know if the tranny bellhousin will match up with the V8 block,and what kinda cluth to use and all that good stuff that i proly over looked, thanks everyone. _Steve

what year is ur part truck cuz the tranny from that 3.9 might be a ax-15 and won't hold up very long to a v8.

you,ll need a flywheel also,360 ext. balanced,
3.9s and 318s int.balanced
why would you spend the extra for a 4x4 anything to make a two wheel drive later
SELL THE 4X4....BUY A TWO WHEEL DRIVE AND POCKET THE CASH YOU,LL HAVE LEFT OVER FROM BUYING THE CHEAPPER 2 WD
