Message: i would be careful with buying a bumper from ebay, i have a 01 qc and i bought a new bumper from ebay for $80 + $40 for shipping and ended getting a low quality bumper, it had the brackets on the back welded to it, which caused the metal to be discolored from the heat that either bled through the chrome or the chrome was so thin that it was semi-transparent. it also was not really smooth before they plated it you could see light grinding marks, and the bends on the sides of the bumper were a little lumpy.
It has been on my truck for about 3 months and already has a heavy layer of rust on the inside of the bumper and on the mounting brackets just behind the grill, and about six spots were a pencil tip size spot of rust is through the chrome near the grill. maybe i got a bum bumper, but it came shipped in a box that said made in taiwan- go figure.

Message: thanx man...i def appreciate the heads up.
the ding in the bumper is about the size of a trailer tongue.hehehe.which,incidently,is what i hit.i saw the boat when i was turning but didnt think about the trailer until i hit it.it was a dumb mistake.it couldve been ALOT worse.if the trailer wasnt on a cement block,it mightve hit my tranny cooler/radiator.
it hit dead in the center of the bumper and only scratched the lower fairing.
thanx again for the heads up.

Message: Hey gents,
I have a patriot blue stock bumper with the fog lights for a 03 Dakotas. It has the flat black upper and the painted bottom skirt. The only thing wrong with it is that there are a couple of little holes where I put my fog light wiring through. I think they could be filled up with a grommet or something. It is for sale and I am in Southern IL. Not sure what it is worth but if interested make me an offer and we can talk.
