Message: Pretty good IMO. I put one on my truck, made a big difference. No solid numbers but it moved my shift points up, No longer have the rev/speed limiter, and felt a lot stronger off the line. Really woke the truck up. Howver, by the time I put mine on I had already put an M1 on it, so the gains may be a little less stock.

Message: The performance pcm for the 92 advances timing about 6 degrees over stock, more fuel to injectors and raises shift points to around 52 or 5300 rpm. The performance pcm is good for an addtional 25 horses.

Message: The shift points are not controlled by the PCM. The PCM does bump up the redline. Your engine is pulling harder, thus, depending on where your kickdown linkage is set, you may realize higher max rpm between shifts, but the PCM, in and of itself, does not control shifting of 1-2-3. It only controls overdrive engagement and torque converter lockup.

Message: No 5-speed with a V-8 until 94 0r 95 I think. If you have a V6, I don't think there is even a PCM for that. Not positive though, but I do not remember ever seeing one.
