I wish that I could simply give you an oil change --- because it would MAKE YOU A BELIEVER! Sorry ... no can do! I don't have fifty dollar bills just laying around.
However, If you order $50 worth of Amsoil Products, I will pay the $10 for your 6-month trial --- Amsoil Preferred Customer Membership --- JUST FOR YOU --- so that you can purchase Amsoil products at dealer WHOLESALE prices for a full 6-months --- and see for yourself. Amsoil Preferred Customer Memberships are renewable for $20 per year.
If you have BALLS ... why not step up to the plate and try it for yourself? Amsoil is growing by leaps and bounds and can barely keep up with all of the new customers that we attract on a daily basis. Amsoil has acquired another warehouse and distribution facility (bringing the total to 15), and has expanded others --- to provide increased capacity and better customer service.

Message: The fram sure drain is the shiznit. There is NO CHANCE that it will ever open by itself on the trail - especially if you have a skid plate (but even if you don't you're safe).
The only way the oil will come out is with the special hose end that screws onto the unit. It sure avoids a huge mess when changing the oil. (I have factory skid plates and the oil would always end up spewing all over the skid plate rather than through the little hole where it's supposed to go.)

Just another single-purpose tool to lose. I'll take my trusty Craftsman socket set over your "special hose" any day.

Message: Hello all!! Just my 2Cents. I have a 02qc-4.7
After the break in period I change to mobil 1.
After getting an education on oils, I decided to try amsoil. What I have noticed is a 2 mile per gallon increase in fuel economy :) (over mobil 1)
My oil stays cleaner longer, and, to me the engine runs smoother. I have, and will continue to use amsoil. I also Have a 1999 jeep the will soon have the good stuff, Hopefully tomarrow depending on how fast ups. gets it here.
I BELEIVE. ;)

Message: Back a few posts someone said "Mobil 1 is King". Only because of marketing. Independant lab test confirm that Amsoil offers up to twice the wear protection. Also, someone mentioned that dino oil is just fine. Not so. I tried to get a friend to use Amsoil in his 99 Durango. Too expensive, he said. At 48K miles, when his 5.2L croaked, the dealer opened it up and found the oil pump pickup screen clogged with sludge. $5K for a new engine! So, what is really more expensive? And why waste time changing oil every 3K miles?! I change my oil once a year, regardless of mileage. Thanks Amsoil! And I do alot of towing. I've got friends who run their (Amsoil) between 10K and 20K miles between oil changes. The engines currently have 140K, 160K, and 300K on them. no noise, no problems. If you have doubts, try amsoil and do an oil analysis.

I have heard the pitch about a hundred times over from other posts that I have read. It is safe to say IT IS WELL DOCUMENTED. Could I have another suggestion please (which is why I posted in the first place), instead of a guy telling me to grow a set, or an ass*ole who won't give me sh*t.

Well Mr.Mayo,
After reading your post it is obvious that you are looking
for something for nothing (thanks for the copy and paste there
Quad Rider).
You were made an offer by the AMSOIL Sponsor (which was a
good one) and you refused.
If you want to prolong the life of your truck and save money in
the process you need AMSOIL.
If you are looking for something for free visit your local junk
yard and find a vehicle that just had it's oil changed prior to
being wrecked. I am sure they (the junk yard) will let you drain
and keep the oil for free.

Thanks Rick, Quad Rider, Dr. D., anyone else that I missed,
Yep,
I could not offer to buy mayo a case of Amsoil and an oil filter, but I did offer to pay his $10 membership fee (if he ordered $50 of Amsoil products) so that he could become an Amsoil Preferred Customer (at no cost to mayo) so that he could buy all his Amsoil lubricants and filters at Dealer WHOLESALE Prices ... and become a BELIEVER! It is one thing for mayo to admit that Amsoil's superiority ... "IS WELL DOCUMENTED", and it's another thing to experience Amsoil for yourself.
My ears tell me that my engine is running quieter. My temperature guage shows me that the engine is running cooler. My in-dash, on-board computer displays that I have averaged an increase in MPG of between 11% - 13% after changing from a FAKE-synthetic (Castrol at the quickie lube) at 9k miles to 100% TRUE-Synthetic Amsoil for the next 14k miles.
Thank you!

Message: Guys your "selective reading" skills are second to none! I did not originally mean to pee on the amsoil mans parade. What I meant from the original post was that I have seen the parade (about a million times) on this forum and did not need another page and a half of info. to remind me that you have a product for sale. Since he seemed fit to "chime" in anyway I gave him a chance to put his money where there mouth is and gain a customer. Steve made an offer, which I did show an appreication for by the way, and yes I did refuse it. I'm sure its a good product, and it does have good feedback from its users. I would like to hear more of the same, instead of a bunch of pot-shots from the peanut gallery. Bully tactics "if you got balls you will try my product" (please grow up) don't work on the over 30 crowd, and cheap folks looking for a hand out don't buy 25k trucks dr.d. Maybe that's why amsoil is mail order, while mobile is on every shelf in america. Just a thought...mr. mayo

Message: I installed a Fram Quick Drain on my motor home (Ford 6.8L), and took it off after the first oil change. Yes, they make for nice, controlled drain, so that oil doesn't splash around, and you avoid that initial "remove the drain plug" outsurge. The downside is that they are incredibly slow draining.
You know that trickle flow you get when the oilpan is just about empty? In my one experience, that's how the entire draining process worked. After what seemed like half an hour, the oil was still trickling out of the hose.

Hmmm let me get this strait ........
You have enough money to buy a 25k dollar truck but you are
looking for someone to give you free oil so that you can be "Sold
On It".
Did Dodge give you that truck and say "Here take this truck for
free, If you are sold on it then you can pay us for it" ? I don't
think so.
I am 39 years old and I buy a lot of AMSOIL through Steven and I
don't care how it is sold.
And .... I didn't see any "Bully Tactics" coming from anybody
except YOU.
Dr. D
P.S.
Mayo, Maybe you should team up John and Teresa Heinz Kerry
and become their "Official Mayo-Naise" Spokesman.
