Subject: tuff bumper IP: Logged
Message: My wife hit a deer with my 2002 Dodge Dakota QC 4x4. It messed the front end up pretty bad. Good news is I now I get to buy new stuff for the truck. I am looking for a heavy duty front bumper. Tube style or just a heavy steal. Any info on what is available would be greatly appreciated. Would like to see pics of off road bumpers on the same application as well.
Thankyou,
Brian

Message: Check out the hanson bumpers, may be too beefy up front with a stock truck, then you could get a lift to even out the buffed up look........

Message: Ok I like the look of the Hanson bumper and I like the options they give you to go with it. Now my questions is, will it work with a body lift?

Message: Hey, check out Sterling Equipment at www.sterling-equipment.com I have a '99 model 4x4 Durango with one of their bumpers and I think it looks awesome. Plus they are custom made however you want it.

Message: I checked out sterling equipment and the tube bumper they sell is more to my liking. I was wondering if you had a picture of that on your durango you could send me.
THanks Brian

Message: Sorry man, I dont have any pics of it and seem to be having problems with my dig. camera right now. If you e-mail Sterling they will send you a couple of pics of one of their bumpers on a Dakota though. If I can get this camera working I'll take some and send them to you though.

Message: Craig I vouldn;t find any pics of the bumper on a dakota durango.
2thextreme that bumper looks awesome, I noticed you got new rims may I ask why? I think Atlas's that size would look better then the 219's.

Message: I bent one of the 219's and they were on backorder everywhere so I waited a few months and bought the 17x10 Atlas's that look awesome with the wide stance.

Message: I'm sure. I didn't like the inset back spacing of the 219's thats why I went to 15X10s. Its so hard to find a 17 that sticks out that people don't already have.
I still have my mud terrains laying around and am thinking of going back to them soon as my exterrains are almost bald.
send me some pics. I'd like to check it out.

Message: Conig, if you email sterling equipment they will send you a pic of on of there bumpers on a dakota. It looked good. A little pricey though by the time you get it with the options you want. I went ahead and put a factory bumper back on and placed an order for a grill guard/brush guard combo by deezee instead.
