Subject: DTC troubles..... IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys. I have a '99 Durango 5.2L, and at 73,000 miles, my check engine light came on. I used my Hpyertech unit to read the code. Code number P0204, I found online that for OBDII this means Injector Circuit Malfunction Cylinder 4. What does this actually mean, and how can I fix it? Do I have to take it to the dealer? If I clear the code to reset the computer back to stock, the problem will still exist correct? If/when I reset it back to stock when I take it in, how can they tell there's something still wrong with it? Thanks guys. Please respond ASAP.

Message: Does it just mean that cylinder isn't getting gas? Will it harm the motor to drive it after I clear it? Because I still have to get to work and the dealership is about 30-40 miles away. Thanks for the help guys.

Message: If you clear it and there is still a problem the code will just come back. i wouldn't want to drive it too long as it will just foul up that cylinder. Could just be a bad injector which is a cheap easy fix.
