I was driving along the freeway when I noticed the Malfunction Indicator light was on.... Well I am driving a new 2004 Dodge Dakota 3.7L with only 700 miles on it. I did the on-off trick and foudn out the code was p2099 well, no one knows what code that is for and called the dealer they said they dont know the code either but I should bring it in. I can't bring it in for another week though.
Anyone know what code p2099 is?
And yes I checked the gas cap it was on....

So what does that actually mean, I made appointment with the dealer so hopefully it isn't somethign that bad.
As you can tell I am still learning alot about the truck

Probably a PCM flash will cure the problem but please post back with the dealer's resolution..
