 Subject: Plenum gasket blown? how to tell?

How do i tell if the plenum gasket is blown? i have the all too annoying ticking sound and wnat to get an M1 this summer when i can make $450. I dont wanna work during school. Or get it for christmas if this is a bad problem. Any advice would be a great help. I have a 99 5.2

take off the airhat, open the butterflys on your throttlebody, and shine a flashlight down the opening. if you see oil in there, its blown.
