Hi there. I've got an '03 QC 4x4 (4.7 V-8). Does anybody make a good chip for them? Any increase in performance would be nice, but I'm mainly interested in mileage. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

No one (chip makers and programmer manufacturers) has been able to improve performance over the stock chip in an 03 4.7. Call Hypertech if you want confirmation (that includes those of you who might want to argue with me about it. Don't kill the messenger.)

I'd like to argue with you about that; why do you think Hypertech is the expert on this ? I've got the older Leach flash on mine that's only available for '00s, but I thought I heard someone (B&G or Kenne Bell ? now had a flash for '03s) I think you're probably right about chips but not flashes. There's definitely improvement to be had from increased spark advance. I've heard this claim about Hypertech before, maybe from you ? Its a load of crap.

Nobody has a decent chip or flash for the 4 connector PCM on the 2003-2004 dakotas as of yet. Jet makes a chip for them, but I've heard nothing good about them. I have e-mailed Kenne Bell and they have nothing available as of yet, but he did say they would be in development around the end of the year

I was going to make a new post asking about this very thing. But since I saw this post...
Here is what i was looking at. Seems to be a lot more than what they first offered. For $300+ it better!

I see others offer reprogramming now for the '03 but you have to SEND them you PCM
