Subject: My truck is stalling IP: Logged
Message: hey all, over the last couple of days i have noticed that when i roll up to a stop sign or a red light my engine dies on me. i had the battery and alternator checked at a local autozone and they said it was fine. i have a 97 5.2 L with 72,000 miles on it that i bought used, anybody has any ideas besides the fuel filter and pump that would be great, also as long as i keep the rpm's up i don't have a problem. thanks

Message: MY 2001 DADOTA QUAD CAB COMPLETELY QUIT ON ME. IT'S NOT GETTING ANY FIRE, OR FUEL, AND MY GAUGE NEEDLES STOPPED WORKING. THE TRIP ODOMETER READS no buS, AND AFTER PUTTING A TESTER ON IT IT REVEALED P0725---ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS AND WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT?

Message: Hey, my truck was doing the same thing. after it sat for awhile or u came to a stop just after starting it, it would stall. all that was wrong was i needed a new battery and it never did it again but if you already had it tested then i dunno. maybe try a new battery if this ones old then ur gonna have to replace it soon anyway.

Message: Sorry to mislead ya Cook! Flux Capacitors are only availabe for the Delorians. There is talk in Motorspeaks Monthly that the Dak will have this option by October 2125. Good luck with the stalling issue.

Message: Only problem with the flux capacitor is that you have to steal weapons grade plutonium from Libyan terrorists in order for it to work properly. And to invent it, you have to fall off the toilet while hanging a clock and smack your head on the toilet. Oh well tho.
