Message: Hey there,
I haven't so much had the problems your having with the front end. I ended up putting the Rancho 3 inch lift on my 01 dakota. Stiffer springs and adjustable shocks took care of everything it seemed.
The transfer case is a different story though. Mine just went out on me two days ago. Started out with just a clicking sound and got worse. My trucks only got 47 thousand miles. Dodge is taking a look at it now. What were the problems you had with the trans case?

Message: I've had the same problem with my '01 QC 4x4 since I bought it new. The front end seems to 'jump' or 'skip' when encountering rough or washboard type conditions at speed. The first time it happened, it kind of scared me, but now I'm use to it. I've never had anything done to my front end other then the balljoint recall. I'm sure I could use some new shocks (76K), but I don't think that will completely solve the problem as it has been doing it since it was new.
Good Luck!
