Mine has a sticker that says "Authorized Software update". On this site others have posted the p/n's that indicate it's a "death flash", but mine didn't match any listed, and I'm very certain mine was death flashed.
I bought a used Durango PCM that didn't have the sticker and my truck ran noticeably stronger (but it did ping just a bit).
