Subject: How to add fuel for Boost?? IP: Logged
Message: I have heard that Kenne-Bell uses two fuel injectors to supplement the stock fuel system for boost.... Is this correct?
How do they control the fuel injectors, and where do the fuel injectors hook into the fuel system?
Has anyone like Tom at Mike Leach(?) done anything with 2 bar or 3 bar map sensors on our engines and kept them driveable? What about converting to a return style fuel system? Can the stock rails be modified to do this? How big are the stock rails internally?
I know there is a gentleman on here who has devised a peltier device to cool his fuel rails and it made a big difference.... I was thinking about modifying some stock rails and having them jet-hot coated for heat-soak resistance or using something like he devised for cooling them...
Will a standard injector work on the 4.7L engines? Are they low or high impedance?
would some upgrade SRT4 injectors work well??
I am thinking about doing a turbo engine and will throw some forged slugs in and try some of this stuff...
Thanks for any ideas or sources in advance!!!
