But...there are a few problems with it and I
was anticipating it but not this much.

Here it goes....

Need to replace ASAP!!!

1. Upper and Lower Ball Joints
2. Serpentine Belt
3. Fan Clutch
4. Needs 4 studs and new set of Lugz
5. Plugs and wires (Original)
6. Cap and Rotor (Original)
7. Front Crank Seal
8. New muffler( the dealer put a smaller 1.5
inch exhaust from catback) Due to an
aftermarket exhaust that was on it before!!

My 99 dak has 72k miles and plugs and wires
are still good but my check engine light tells
me that there is misfiring on m,ultiple
cylinders.....Huh!!! couldnt tell when i boiled
both tires through an intersection just flooring
it! : )

Anyways the tires it has on them when i
bought it are 255/70/15 Daytona Tires. They
look good but are cheap!

When i get this stuff replaced I will be abl to
drive the truck again.

BTW the fan clutch is supossedly new but It
stays on 100% of the time....my 3.9 did this
with a new fan clutch but it took 2 eeks for it to
break in....if the fan clutch doesnt break in it
will be replaced.

I am a new happy Owner of a 99 RC 318 Auto
Dakota! It feels good to FINALLY have the v8 in
it!!

Tell me any suggestions for the truck on what i
might get for the parts.

So far I have the Borg Warner Brass Cap And
Rotor bought and new plugs and wires with
the Front crank seal. But everything else I still
need to buy. What do you guyz think???

Thanx and God I Love MOPAR!!!

I have a 99 318 CC 4x4, I have added a flowmaster single in, single out 40 series, an Airaid TBS, removed the fubber flap on the passenger side of the radiator, and removed the snorkel on the airbox. Removing the flap and snorkel netted me almost 2 MPG, no kidding. I used to get 16.9 highway, and just got 18.5 this weekend. The TBS seemed to level out the midrange torque, and the flowmaster sounds awesome and flows great. I stayed with a single exhaust because unless you have a true dual, you are really just making more noise, not more power. Congrats on the 318, she is a great motor. I will also soon be getting an higher flow air filter, if I can ever decide on one!!

Airhog vs. Airaid vs. K&N...???

I think I will stay away from the K&N though, not enough filtration...

Ok...so they all have layers or oiled cotton between mesh for support.

So I am missing the HUGE difference in these filters...? And the joke, I guess.

Does anyone know what the best setup is for a high flow CAI set up??? Cause the one it has on now looks like a home made one and not very usefull.
