HELLO just a few questions for you old timer fans of the dakota
looking to purchase a 2002 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab can anyone tell me how easy it is to get kits for the vehicle...
what is the differance between a body lift and a suspension lift and what is the pro and cons of each??? also what is the maximum size tires you can put on this truck??
also how well does the dakota v8 engine match up to say pulling a trailer with possibly two snowmobiles on them? does it have enough guts..
let me know and greatly appreciated

Message: Wadda mean by crew cab?? This is Dodge, it's a club cab (2 door extended cab) or Quad Cab (4 door cab). What engine you running, 3.9, 4.7, or 5.9? The 4.7 and 5.9 have more than enough guts to pull snowmobiles. The 3.9 would have a bit of rough time going up mountains with that load, but not as bad as a lot of other trucks. It would probably be able to maintain it's speed going up a decent grade, but I wouldn't pass up a grade with the 3.9. The other 2 you can probably pass up a grade no problem with that load. Just make sure you check the max tow rating for the setup on that truck, and make sure you're not overloading it. With 2 snowmobiles, don't think you'll be close at all (not sure how much snowmobiles weight??). These trucks will haul 5000-6000lbs easy
