Emailed Superchip and asked the question as to when they would have "chip" ready for the 4.7. Here is the response
"Yes we are currently working on that product. We are still a few months away." from sales@superchips.com
Few months away, WTF. How long has the 4.7 been out anyways? What is taking so long, is it a computer thing or an engine thing...

The last time I talked to them, the HEMI had just come out. They were focusing all their resources on it and shelved the 4.7 programmer.

Superchips told me that their programmer was going to be out in late summer, so I e-mailed them again two weeks ago and the said it should be out at the end of the year. My a$$.

Wondering the ssame thing about the performance chip on ebay. Anyone buy it? If so what were the results from it? For 10 bucks and 20more HP that sounds too good to be true....

Its crap Rich don't waste your money on it. the superchips programmer is supposed being tested right now by a few dakotas in the orlando area with excellent results. There has been some discussion of this on dakotausa.com and dakotatrucks.org

Hey Cthomp, testing is in Orlando?
Hurricanes are not good for product testing eh?
Anyway, if we really want this, we need to email a request to them. I did and they gave me the same time frame: Winter 2004.
