Subject: flywheel problems

hello all, i have a problem. i got the 5.9 in my 95 dak, but i beleive the junk yard sold me the wrong flywheel. the truck runs like crap, it barelly idles and doesn't have any real power, plus i here clatter form the top end. I took to the dealer to get the distributor indexed and they said they couldn't. the timing was jumping all over the place, they also looked at the dist. gear and it was fine, no wear. I replaced the crank and cam sensors and still no effect on the performance of the engine. this leads me to think that either the junkyard sold me a unbalanced flywheel or the cranksensor ring is shot. the tech at the dealer said (and I saw) that the timing from the crank sensor was jumping all over the place. What can anybody tell me. also if i was to get a 318 wheel balanced, do you just balance the wheel or do you balance it to the motor. how can a machine shop do this if it is the later. one last thing, can someone tell me where to find a 5.9 flywheel besides a junkyard and the dealer???????????? i really need some help
