Message: I put a Husky brand aluminum diamond plate truck box on my 01 Quad Cab last May. Bought it at Home Depot for around $175. They had black and silver. Basically it's meant for a Ford Ranger sized bed, but if you buy about 4' of 1.5" x 1.5" Aluminum Angle (also available at Home Depot) you can mount it using four bolts per side. The width of the box is slighty less than the cab width. I had to use the angle because I only had about 1/4" of overhang on each bedrail. I cut the angle to length and bolted it to the side rails, then set the box in position and bolted the box to the angle. I used wing nuts on the box to angle bolts so that I could remove the box when I need to carry something large. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Message: I got a UWS Slimline box - fit's my '01 QC great. Check out [http://uwsta.com/truckblue.html#SLIMLINE]. I don't think they are super cheap, but great quality and the perfect size.
