Message: For what it's worth...the '92 and '93 5.2 RC's were among the fastest stock Daks ever, primarily due to lighter weight (about 250lb. lighter than '97-up), and the killer exhaust manifolds with 1/4" larger inside diameter than '94-up. Mopar Action magazine's '93 5.2 RC 3:92 ran 14.9 sec. stock 1/4 mile, and 14.4 with K&N drop-in, 25HP Mopar Performance computer, bug deflector removed at inlet, and ideal shift points on the tranny adjuster. The truck eventually ran 14.2, still all-motor. The average R/T RC weighed around 3880 lbs. A RC 4.7 5-spd weighs 3759 lbs. The 5.9 engine was 50+ pounds heavier, and the rear end 75 pounds more.

Message: My 93 Reg cab 5.2 sport run so far 14.50 spinning with the stock tires and 3.55 gears.it has headers, 3" exhaust,msd box,MP computer,stock air fiter without the bug deflector.i have underdrive pulley for it not yet on.i hope to get real low 14's or some 13.90s out of it.sleeper.white with the sport decals and stock height.
