If you flush your cooling system with a garden hose will it be as effective as taking it to the dealer for there "special" flush? And what is the best procedure to use? 98 5.2 4X4 AUTO W/AC

The only thing special about the "dealer" flush is the inflated cost. Your warranty (if you have one) may require the "dealer" flush to cover future damages but other than that, the garden hose kit works just fine if you follow the directions.
