Message: What type/kind of cam would I need to add to my 5.2 for faster quarter runs?
What do I need to do to have a stronger gear shift instead of the stall that I have now with the factory setup?

Message: More duration and more lift. It'll move the power band up and get more air in. Make sure you've got intake and exhaust to help out your cam.

Message: TransGo shift kit for firmer, quicker shifts, as well as longer tranny life. Higher stall converter will require a converter swap. Adjust the throttle kickdown lever to delay upshifts and firm them up a bit even without the tranny kit. Even the CompCams 254HR-12 would pep things up, but you will need better valve springs. The 262HR-14 is listed as a performance cam for 318 Magnum. May need computer mods. The 264HR-12 is a bit hotter, but you'd definitely need computer mods for that one.
