Subject: Fuel Line Problem

I've got a 93 Dodge Dakota (ext. cab, 5.2 L V8), and having problems with the fuel line. It is leaking from a connection between a steel-braided soft-line and a hard-line, which is accessable about a foot back underneath the driver-side door. I'm not sure how they connect to each other, but it seems that the soft line just slides over the hard line, and is held tight by some sort of clamp (which looks cracked)... but I could be wrong. I tried using a hose clamp to tighten up the connection, but it made it worse. It seems that squeezing it has created even more of a leak. Does anybody have any information regarding this? AutoZone has told me that they cannot order the parts for this. They have also told me that it looks like a high pressure line, but they could be wrong. Can anyone help?
