 Subject: 1990 3.9L to 5.2L engine swap

ok i have a 1990 dakota 3.9 L 4x4 5spd. i would like to put a 5.2L(318) in it. i have a 318 engine and computer from a 1991 dakota 4x4. will the engine mounts that are on the 91 5.2L work on my 90 dakota or can i get some from somewhere or will they have to be fabracated. also will the wiring and computer from the 91 work in my truck.

everything should bolt up fine. you may want to check w/ the pros to see if the v6 tranny can handle v8 torque.
