that would link up with the pipes after the muffler of my existing catback but would that flow right? im looking for a butt load of noise and less restriction, i want to dance on the border of illegal.

What dude? Are you talking about splitting the 2 1/2" pipe into 2 2 1/4" pipes after the cat just to run two mufflers? Can you even do that?

If you want butt load, boarder illegal go with the spintech true duals. Just had it installed last weekend. I drop down to idle whe I see a cop so I don't get a ticket. Hope you drive alone, you will have to scream to carry a conversation in the cab. sounds mean though.

i know this is used to combine two pipes into one but could i use this Y pipe to split one pipe into two?

if u want loud, forget mufflers. i had mine true dualed at a local shop w hi flow cats and then straight pipes. it is very loud. louder than most
ne thing runnin around my town
