Message: Could and one point me in the direction of the drain plug on a 99 4x4 5.2l.
I had a good dakota manual, but it got rained on and ruined.
Also, do these motors respond well with the 180 thermo?

Message: Driver side of the radiator, underneath of course :-)
If I remember correctly, the bumper is in the way a bit, but my front end wss junk at that time, so hard to say :-) But that plastic piece that protects the radiator from underneath caught the coolant and made it go everywhere. However, if you look underneath, you should see it, I think it's actually on the backside of the radiator.

Message: 2 drain plugs - at least on mine. Small plastic one on the bottom of the radiator. Breaks easily so be careful. That will drain the coolant from the radiator but not the engine. There is another plug on the passenger side of the engine, near the front I think. That allows the coolant to drain from the passageways within the engine.
