 Subject: 5.2L V8 4x4 Transmission Temp Light

the tranny temp light keeps comming on and kicks my tranny out of OD and back into OD again. Even when I drive with OD off the tranny temp light still comes on and goes off immediately after. I checked the tranny fluid and coolant and everything seems good. I have been driving the truck for awhile and it seems to get progessively worse. Befor it would only happen if i drove constantly for 2-3 hours on highway, but lately its been happening even after 10 mins of city driving with OD on and OFF. I never use 4x4, so only happens with the rear engaged. I usually haul sportbikes with the truck, but the light still comes on now with nothing in the back. I was thinking of getting a tranny cooler, but does anyone think it could be a sensor? Any help would be great, thanks in advance.....
