Well I have a 94 3.9 ext cab dakota and it is pretty quick for a 6 cylinder truck...its not stock but it will beat my friends 4.3 s10 with exhaust and CAI. Well i test drove a 97 5.2 auto rc dakota and man was that trhing SOOOOO much quicker. It had an open differential but would break both tires loose 80% of the time off the line or in a turn or a power brake. Thought this truck is not a quick as i wanted it but it has 160k miles on it and all original...the omly thing i found amusing was the bark of both tires it gave when i did a 25-30 punch it was great on 245/70/15's They wanted almost $9k for I dont think so...but with minimal mods this truck could break into the 15's....what are yall's opinions?

9k??? man...I got my 01 4.7 RC with a 5 speed and 3.92 lsd for 10. http://www.slupowerlifting.com/dak.JPG ...Look around before you spend that much for a truck with 160k on it.
