Message: before yall start yelling at me and cursing me for bring up the subject, i want to know if they help ANY AT ALL in torque and milage, cause i just want any more torque i can get and i could really use the extra mpg's. I have a 5.2L 98 4x4.
I have heard that they help some people and some people didn't help any. But if they did help someone any, let me know what kind it is.
One of the main reason's i'm looking for more torque is because i was riding on the interstate about 73 mph and just to go over hills i had to push it up to 3200 rpm's when usually it was about 2500. And that was to maintain the same speed.

Message: TB spacers don't work on the 3.9/5.2/5.9L engines, or so I'm told. Some people claim it works on the 4.7L, but I dunno, and I'm not about to drop $100 to find out, haha.

Message: I have a power-aid spacer on my 4.7L, but I did it at the same time as my intake so I daon't really know how much it actualy helps. I got 2mpg better after the intake and spacer.

Message: I have a 99 R/T with a K & N intake and the poweraid spacer wouldn't work with it. It lifted the intake up to high and I wasn't able to close my hood without forcing it. If anybody is interested in the spacer I will sell it for $50. I only had it on my truck for about 2 hours and decided not to use it because I didn't want to damage my hood.

Message: The TB spacer doesn't work with the multi-point injection systems. Think about it The only thing it is doing is swirling the air going into the intake, swirling has make annouying whistling sounds from what i have heard and seen. If the fuel injection system was like a older chevy w/ the two injectors hanging above the TB it would inprove the mixing of the air/fuel, increasing power & mpg.
