Message: I was looking into getting a jet chip for my 98 5.2L kota. I'm really only looking for the increased speed. What other options do I have?

Message: A paperweight is pretty equivalent to a Jet chip. I recommend the Hypertech or Superchip programmers.

Message: Azf100,
Whats the bad things about the Jet Chip? I just wanted to know your opinion. Thanks for the comment tho.
Gixxxer,
What kind of performance gains did you get with the chip? Your selling it, so I didnt know if Azf100 was right in saying they are junk (well atleast you can hold papers together or clean your finger nails with it).
Any other info would help too! I was going to look into a Hypertech programer but thought they were really exspensive.

Message: hey Rukenoot, there has been a lot of discussion on this board about the Jet chips. What they are meant to do is adjust timing by a few degrees. Most people with the Magnum engines do not see results with the Jet chip (I don't have a technical reason), some people actually got slower. $200+ is waaaaay too much money for this mod. Like I said before, I like the programmers that are available, I have a Hypertech myself and although only have a butt dyno, have definately noticed a difference at 3/4 to full throttle. If I were you I would save up for a Mopar Performance PCM. I have only heard good things about it. Do a search, you will find many opinions on this topic.

Message: Thanks for the adivce guys.
Does anyone on the board sell these PCM's? I know Socal usually has really good prices, but I never checked into these Computers.
Thanks again!!
