Subject: Which Flowmaster?

Message:
OK guys, I want a Flowmaster muffler but i cant decide on which one I want. I was thinking about the New Super 40 series muffler, or one of the older models. Any Thoughts?

I have 2001 R/T

Thanks

Stumpy

I did not like the 40 on my R/T. Very ratty sounding. I went with a full GS Motorsports system featuring their headers and a true dual exhaust. I have 2 high flow cats and Spintech 3000 series sportman mufflers(the loud ones). It sounds awesome and runs even better. Well worth the 1200 I have in the system.

Now on the other hand, I have a Fartmaster 40/Delta Flow on my 4.7 Quad Cab and it sounds great. Go figure.

I have a 2003 Stampede with a 4.7L V-8. I have the 30 series flowmaster which is just a little quiter than the 40 series; it's also made out of a better material . I am really happy with the low rumble of the 30 series. If you do a lot of highway deriving the 40 series gets irritating.
