Knobby- I was actually thinking about it. I was also looking at the Keystone 2 scoop hood too. But I think the GTS would be cool. I wouldn't need the Ram Air one cause I am gonna have Bernd "blow" the truck...hehe

Back to the 5.2 vs 4.7 question...

There's also the minor matter of the 4.7 being an overhead cam design; 5.2 is a pushrod engine.

4.7 has a plastic intake manifold; 5.2 has aluminum (at least I think it's aluminum...not plastic).

4.7 has a coil on plug ignition system; 5.2 has a regular electonic distributor.

The list of detail differences goes on and on... But the 4.7 design (cylinder spacing, bore/stroke ratio, etc) borrows heavily from the 318, although I'm not sure that there are any interchangeable parts except for the air filter, oil filter, and spark plugs.
