Message: What is the best away to get surface scratches out of a dark colored paint? With probobly 20 coats of wax. I have kids and i have scratches from balls, bikes, etc. Not wore through, but in the sunlight you can visually see rubs, maring, etc. I understand its not wise to buff dark colors because of swirls and buffing lines? What have you guys done?

Message: Try Mothers swill remover polish, may need several applications and it seems to work pretty good. If they are real bad you can use #2000 wet sandpaper, then rubbing compound then buffing compound then the swill remover then wax. There's also a product from Meguires called NXT, I haven't found it in the stores yet, so I can't endorse it (yet).
There are a ton of products out there, some for hand use some for machine buffing. The trick is to find what works best for you, then hope it doesn't go out of production or they change the formula.

Message: The best way is to wet sand and buff. But if you wet sand with 2000, Count your passes dont go to deep and don't press hard. The best stuff is 2000 wet 3m paper 3m Rubing Compound then 3m glaz
And a buffer. This stuff can get tricky so if you dont feel comfortable take it to some that has done it before.
