Message: today cruising through town a grandpa pulls up next to me in his new Z71. I couldn't touch him off the punch,it seems like my dakota shift way to quick with-out getting into the power band.
I am still awaiting my 4:10 gears to be installed, Do you guys with the mopar pcm see a change in the shift points? Mines shifts way to soon and doesn't wind up. You guys that spin and can't get traction- I'm jealous. Mine only gets loose starting on a steep hill or wet surface.
Lots of mods done: k&n, plugs, headers,cat back,ported throttle body,180 stat,new 31" tires.It is a 4x4.What do i need to do lite up the tire like a 2wd? I suppose the 4:10 gears i have will help.
any suggestions? I've been waiting 2 months to get my gears in. hopfully, in 2 weeks they will get installed!!!
