Subject: Jet Stage 2 for 4.7
IP: Logged

Message:
I wanted to get some feed back from people that have the chip and what they think about it. I had a jet computer in my neon and it really didn't do much...so I am a little worried about buying another jet product. I talked to a guy at jet and he said the stage 2 gives 16-19 rear wheel horse power. Any feed back would help a lot

hasnt done anything for mine. $200+ is a lot
to spend on this product. so far it seems like
it made my truck shift worse (automatic) I
would just spend the extra $100 on an ASE
chip or a KRC or Kenne Bell flash.

www.krcperformance.com
www.asechips.com (removes speed limiter)

my opinion on the jet chip is based on about 9
months of use, some people like it, but for the
money, I didnt really notice any considerable
gains. the 4.7 responds really well to a PCM
flash, so I would call KRC Kenne Bell or ASE
before deciding on the JET chip.

You can dump a fair amount more ignition timing into the 4.7. The jet will simply not do this.

CW: do you think the Jet2 is screwin with my
tranny? I know that the 45RFE shifts hard
occasionally, but I think it has gotten worse.

I doubt it. There is probably a reprogram for the TCM.
