I just got a 2002 dak 4.7L quad cab with the 12 bolt rearend. First can anyone tell me of any problems I need to watch out for? I heard something about the balljoints coming off. is this true for the 2002? Next is there an after website where I could get things like the trip computer, compass, elctric fans, etc...????

Hey Mikey, welcome to the club! I have an 02' QC with the 4.7 and 3.92 rear. I've had nothing go wrong on this truck at all. The bad news about the 4.7 is there isn't a lot of aftermarket stuff, the good news is you don't have to touch the engine since it's pretty much designed to the max. Meaning any air filters, fans, throttle bodies, etc. will not see any big gain and in most cases actually lose HP. Just my experience, but I'm sure others will tell you different.
