Question for those with 360 Air Intakez

I have a 99 5.2 4x4 and I bought the 360 Air Intakez system in the group buy they had going. I go to intstall it after I recieve it and I can't get the tub to fit through the heat shield. I put the heat shield on the mounting points for the stock air box but when I put the aluminum tube on the air hat and try to get it through the hole in the heat shield it wouldn't reach through the hole and I wasn't able to put the air filter on. Anyone have this problem? I left the heat shield off for now but I want to put it on. And anyone with pics of there intakes and would like to post them? That would help out a lot. Thanks.

Yeah i got the exact truck u got, and i got the 360 intake with the heat shield and it was a tight fit as well... it bairly go through the hoel cut-out in the heat shield, but u just gotta mess with it a little and it fits.. the Cone filter will be close to the heat shield and the rubber end of the filter may have to go threough the hole as well like mine.. sorry im not much help but ur not the only one out there
