Is it possible? I think so, but my friend says that a 4x4 clubcab won't burnout at all b/c its similiar to AWD and transfers to the front tires once you start slipping?

What the answer?

Is it an all wheel drive type? If not as long as it's in 2 wheel drive mode then it's just like a 2 wheel drive truck. Just don't do any neutral drops!

Ive got a 2001 4x4 QC STOCK and YES ITS POSSIBLE! My 01's knob switches me from 2wd to 4wd. Not that I condone this type of behavior! ;)

BUT, my brothers got a 2002 (AWD), also stock, and No, he couldnt do it if he wanted to! His knob switches him from AWD to 4WD. I believe AWD is now stock on the 4x4 (correct me if Im wrong).

WOT on pavement with 4.7, AWD and LSD. No spinning tires, just forward motion. I'm still in love!

My friend own two '01 4X4's. One is a 4.7. the other is 5.9,,,both quadcabs.
Only tried on the 5.9,,,and you can 'NOT' power brake it. It just won't break the back tires loose on pavement,,,,,.
Hate to bring it up too,,,,but it feels incredibly slower compared to the same truck w/the 4.7.

GlenC I have a 2002 4.7 QC AWD AUTO and am very interested in the KB Supercharger. I had some questions for you about it but Im guessing most of my questions have been answered in previous posts. I tried searching this site about it but there are sooo many things to read , it could take days to find my answers. Are there any threads that pertain to just your install/experiance/everyday usage? Thanks any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

well, im not to happy with the interaction between the Auto and the KB. Chryslers WONDERFULL design, dubbed "Torque Management" or something gets rather annoying. This truck is my daily driver tho, and i'd never go back. But if i had my way, a 5 spd would have been a much better choice. KB says they can fix all the problems with the auto if i send them my PCM AND $300. Im a little short on cash right now, so i havent gotten it done. I hope to soon tho. Other than that, its great having all that power so low in the rpm range, perfect for driving around town. From what i hear its great for towing too. I did the install my self, and altho it was a pain, i dont think i would have anyone else do it for me. Anyways, thats just my .02

Zendak ...

That 5.9 quad cab is fully capable of doing burnouts. TRUST ME. I've left many a pair of dual tire burnouts with mine. And it does it with little effort! ;o)
