Subject: 97-04 White Dakota Club Cab cap for sale IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys I'm selling the cap to my 2000 dakota, I'm selling it on ebay and as of now its at a dollar and I really would like to get more than a dollar for it. The auction is listed as ship locally but I'm willing to work with people on the freighting situation. I'm located in Northwest IL.

The cap is white, has some minor scratches on it but comes with keys to lock the windows on all sides. The black things on top are there to set the cap upside down on flat surfaces, there are no screens on the windows. I can send higher resolution pictures of people want them.
This cap fits on the club cab!! It comes with a brake light as well, if you need any more info email me: ttoomey@ydnt.com

Message: You pulled the auction right before it closed with a high bid of $5.50 because the "measurements were wrong". Now the starting bid is $25.00, hmmmm. Are you sure the measurements are correct now? I thought the bed of a club cab was 6ft not 81 inches as you now state for the size of the cap. Even if I add in the width of the front and back rail, I don't think it's 81 inches. I'll have to measure tonight. Just out of curiosity, if the high bid this time is $30.50, is the measurement going to change again?

Message: I did have the measurement wrong, the length is 81in exact on the 2000 dodge dakota club cab from the edge of the front of the bed to the edge of the back of the bed, not 72 inches or 6ft as I had advertised, someone brought it to my attention about 2 hours before it ended so I cancelled the auction and re-submitted.
if you read ebay's policy about cancelling and re-listing entries you'll see that if the item's description is wrong that you are allowed to cancel and re-submit. The auction still has no reserve and if you are complaining that I started it out at 25 dollars then you're insane because the cap is worth at least 200 dollars, I watched one go for 360 a day before, and it had no windows.
If it goes for 30.50 I'll glady sell it as long as its local delivery. Sorry for the mistake
