when my fuel tank gets below 1/2 it seems as though it is running out of fuel, has a miss, and doesen't preform as well as it does when the tank is full. it is a 94, 5 spd , with a 360, this problem started after i put the 360 in it. the fuel pump was changed before i had the motor done. it happens more on the freeway driving at 100kms/60mph

Sounds like the fuel pump is sucking air. You should pull the pump out and make sure the pick up is all the way at the bottom of the tank, and there are no leaks between the pump and the pick up tube extension (if there is one).
