Headgaskets? On a car with only 23 on it? And only running 7-8 psi? Sounds like a lot of work for something that ought to be able to hold all 8# just fine. Dont you have to have the block resurfaced, heads resurfaced?? From the books I have read, just changing the gaskets is not a very good idea w/o doing any machining becuase small partilces of the gasket material do make thier way into the metal, and when you put the new ones on, even though you have scraped all the old off, you still have a little bit of material in that first thin area of both the block and head. Almost makes it slick, and will blow out the new gasket faster than what the old would have. Tsat and plugs, sure... Ive had mine on for the past 2K now, and have run it pretty hard... so far so good. I love it!! Ive got the retard set from about 1 deg/PSI. Thats with the perf computer and 195 stat, colder plugs.
