Message: The motor is just about ready for paint and reinstallation. (Studded as well this time.) The motor should be putting out about 250HP (or close to it) without any other help...10-12psi Intercooled turbo is the last step. (If all goes well, it'll be right about at 350-360HP...for a 3.9L.)

Message: Yea it was back during thanksgiving I took my G-tech home. I'm not sure if its a 1999 or 2000.
Here's the post:
"I went home for turkey day with my trusty G-tech. My brother told me he just put headers on and had taken the cats off. But, he has the auto and tall rear end so I figured I'd give him a run for his money.
Him: 15.56@86.6
Me: 15.15@91.3
This was best of three on an on-ramp to nowhere. So considering it's a two ton truck, with a smaller engine-impressed the stink outta me!"

Message: IntenseDak39,
How much nitrous are you using on your V6-200hp??
To run 78 mph in the 1/8 you are pushing around 350-360hp at the flywheel? My 360 has about 330hp and runs 76mph in the 1/8mile but I have pretty bad traction problems. With your truck running an 8.95 it should run a low 13sec 1/4, pretty impressive for a 3.9.

Message: hey thanx, nice to get some respect from a V8 (most don't like the fact that there is fast V6s out there). i am shooting a 100 shot but i have a lot of mods. my only down fall is that i am spinning one slick (hoosier Dots)well into second gear because i have an open differential with 3.55 gears. i hope to get a powertrax with 4.10 gears soon. maybe i will sneak up on sevens with that combo. check out my webpage (down below) to see pics and all of my mods.

Message: Wow it responds really well to being sprayed. It's a lot quicker than most of the R/T's here(Tampa,Fl) Quickest R/T I've seen running here ran a 10.05 in the 1/8. My girlfriend has a '99 Club Cab with a 318 and when it was stock she grudge raced an R/T reg cab and ran a 10.22 to his 10.15 , we ran him again later that night and his rear bumper would not clear the front of her truck til about 105mph.

Message: intense39... how do you take off, you have an
auto right? I am afraid of takin my dak to the
track cause of traction problems. I have a 4.7
auto open 3.55 and regular 15" tires, what tire
pressure do you think I should run, and do you
just gun it? If I just gun it it burns the tires, it
upshifts, then grabs traction and downshifts
again. kinda lame, if I give it a little gas with
foot on the brake, then let go, it smokes the
tires longer, but is continuous, without
upshifting and downshifting.
those are pretty good times for open diff, did
the slicks help much?

Message: when i had regular tires i got worse ets with lower pressure. the slicks knocked almost half of a second off with an open diff. (cant wait to get a locker of some sort!).
i hold the brake and keep the rpms up as high as i can through the tree and let to on the green. after i hit about 2000 rpm i hit the nitrous and my right tire goes nutz and spins into second, sometimes sending my truck a little sideways. with the 75 shot i would just shoot it off of the line (or a few feet out) and have the same thing happen to me sooner. man do i need some LSD!
my truck has no torque off of the line (d@mn V6!) so i really don't know how to handle your situation because i can't with the nitrous off of the line... when i get a LSD and 4.10 gears i am going to shoot that baby off of the line with a 100 shot! man would it be sweet.
my ladder bars will help me hook up a lot better when i get a lsd and i will probably set my shocks to xtra firm.

Message: "D" ___ Wind it up and let it go,takes a bit of practice but if the tires are good you can be wide open in about 10-15' .Holding at stall before the start is much faster,no wasted time for the springs to wrap up or the converter to stop sliping. It may feel slower because the back end doesn't squwat as bad but the weight is on the rear tires faster. When you burn up the stock tires buy some Pirelli Scorpion Zero's
