Message: I have a 1996 Club cab Dakota with a 318, 3.55 gear. In the 1/8 mile I run 8.90's and 78mph. I haven't ran it at a 1/4 mile track, but I have a G-Tech performance meter and the best I've ran is 13.92 at 103mph. I need some tires that will hook and I think it will be a little faster.

MODS: PVC intake with filter located behind headlight inside fenderwell, flowmaster 50 series dumped, tps @.74, Autolite 3923s, tailgate and spare removed
On Stock Rubber: 14.63 @ 93.19
On Hoosier Slicks: 14.29 @ 91.8
Cant quite figure out the MPH thing, maybe the slicks have too much drag at high speeds, the 60 foot times were 2.11 with radials and 1.69 on slicks

Message: Landx47 , you have any traction devices or anything ? You dumping the clutch @ 4000 rpm ? 1.69 60` time is pretty awesome with just slicks and the few mods you have. Sure thats not a typo ?

Message: Best time of 12.46 @ 112.83 in the 1/4..... 8.06 @ 88.29 in the 1/8th, all with a 1.97 60' time. I'm thinking that a trip to a track that actually preps the starting line might bet me back into the 1.7 60' range. If I could get some 1.6 times I'd REALLY be happy!

Message: I saw at Dragtruk most everybody with a 1.69 - 1.70 60ft. is in the low 12s hi 11s.
I bought MT ET streets for my R/T and they did almost nothing for my 60`. 2.22 on RSAs 2.17 on ET streets. I was pissed. I need a stall and traction bars or something.
Duner , I wanna see a 1.65 with the left front come off the ground. You can do it. :-)

Message: Hey guys, dont have the truck anymore, but the week before i sold it, it turned a 12.068@114.94, 7.775@90.86 mph 1/8, and a 1.86 60'. The 60' left a lot to be desired, but it made up for it on the top end bigtime. Later guys.
P.S. - I think someone from NJ bought it, so if anyone sees a SC'ed FR RC R/T running around, with a pretty good lope to it, watch out!
