Subject: hanging plug IP: Logged
Message: hey everyone, i have a 2 post type plug hanging by my transfercase on my 98 4x4 dak, and was wondering if anyone knew what it goes to. I have cut out my muffler and it has a y pipe in place of it. I got to thinking if it was some kind of a sensor to the muffler or not. If you don't mind, take a gander under you truck and see if you can tell me where this wire goes. it is a 2 post male end that snaps into the other end (where ever it is)Thanks

Message: Do your backup lights work? You know, the white lights at the rear of the vehicle that come on when you put it in reverse? Usually this plug is a female style that plugs into a switch on the transmission but, check your lights just to be sure.
