i have a 1991 dakota v8 ext cab 4 x4 and when you take out i have a shutter feel and a noise could this be the transfer case

Big deal you work two jobs, alot of people do. Since you have the extra income from the other job you should be able to afford a digital camera. Don't take it personal, just razing ya. Ya it is tough having two jobs, I've had two jobs most of my life. If I'm not working two jobs, I feel "lost" like I should be doing something. Hell I've even had three jobs at once before. I would get a grand total of 5 hours of sleep a night Monday thru Friday. So I hear ya. Again just giving you a hard time Sep, but I do think you should double check about the transfer case "fluid" level being checked by the auto trans dipstick. Just a thought.

Well he didn't do his homework. I still thought it was funny that the head mechanic at the local Dodge dealership used the term "oil" when referring to "transmission fluid", that being one of Sep's main arguements and all. I have no quames about doing "my homework". I'm a research/historian in the Air Force so I get LOTS of practice doing my homework a.k.a. "research".
Hey Sep why are you so quick to go off the handle at someone anyways? Do you speak to others the way you write?

I've been doing my homework and on my truck I have to crawl underneath to check the "oil" level in the transfer case. Where do you guys get the tranny / transfer combos that share the same "oil"? I know there is at least one guy here who has that set up. Thanx! ;)
