Subject: Power door locks not working
IP: Logged

Message:
I need help! I've just recently replaced the battery in my 03 Dak Quad 4.7L. After replacing the battery everything on the truck worked fine except for the cental door locking system. The automatic locks will not lock the doors. The key fob no longer works except that the security system arms when the button is pressed. The auto-locking system isn't working when the truck reaches 15mph like it did prior to replacing the battery. I've reviewed the owner's manual and attempted to reset the locking system according to the instructions in the manual with no luck. The Dealer says that I'll have to bring it in for them to service, but that's going to mean taking time off of work and a 90 minute drive... Anyone have any suggestions?

Jack

Could just be that the fuse blew. You check that yet?

I've checked the fuses on the left side of the dash and don't see a fuse labled for the door locks.. Is there a fuse hidden somewhere that I haven't found?
